Feeling so Modern

Here I am posting my very first blog entry. As it is, I am very behind the times. Thank you to my professor, Liz, for forcing me to get up to speed. I will be using this space to post information for my online advocacy class, but also it will be a journal spot for Josh and my trip to Costa Rica. We are leaving in 2 days! I have been waiting for years for this trip. Josh, on the other hand, did not have CR on his radar as a vacation destination until he met me. Oh, the joy I bring to his life. Here's hoping we get through the language barrier, hot/rainy weather, potential earthquakes, volcano eruptions, and irrational monkeys who find it entertaining to urinate on people's heads and/or throw things at them for the fun of it. I have a feeling if all goes well, I will be trying to convince Josh to take the plunge and move down there as an ex-pat. Sounds like the good life.
